PRODUCER

We are looking for a Producer to integrate into our development team to help us build fantastic experiences for players. In the short term, this means helping us bring Circuit Superstars to its full release on PC and consoles. In the long term, this means helping with post-launch support for Circuit Superstars as well as working on future games.

Our team is small, and as a result, our roles are broad. As a Producer, you will:

  • Develop a robust understanding of Circuit Superstars and the long-term vision for its growth.

  • Coach the team through the identification, definition and prioritization of work.

  • Coordinate development and build deliveries for a variety of platforms.

  • Identify risks and work with the team to establish ways to manage or mitigate said risks.

  • Develop clear reports on the state of development for the team and partners.

  • Collaborate with the team to plan for, execute and submit builds to QA and platforms certification.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working in game development as a Producer.

  • Experience in cross-platform development environments.

  • Ability to work in a remote, dynamic, collaborative team environment.

  • Is curious, driven, collaborative, and kind.

  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Loves games and game development.

We'll be extra impressed if you either:

  • Have an interest in organizational systems and are keen to coach the team through learning and iterating on the way we work.

  • Experience with Hansoft, JIRA, Trello or other project management software tools

Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada, or currently in Canada on a work permit/visa. This is a remote position: we are currently working remotely and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Our team goals are aligned with the games we make: we believe work should bring us satisfaction and opportunities for growth and self-expression. We believe in self-managing teams empowered with trust and autonomy. As a team member at Original Fire Games, you will be part of strategizing, planning and executing the development of the game. More importantly, you will be part of a team in which people care about and support each other.
