iRacing and Original Fire Games are pleased to announce a new partnership to develop and publish a racing game aimed at the broader casual racing market. The plan is to release the new game, currently featuring the working title iRacing Arcade, with iRacing as the publisher in 2025 on PC and consoles. The new game will build upon the infrastructure of Circuit Superstars, Original Fire Games’ current release, to create an all-new product that takes the already fun driving experience to the next level.

“iRacing has long been interested in expanding into other niches in the race gaming market, and we’re thrilled to be doing that with Original Fire Games,” said iRacing president Tony Gardner. “We have a lot of respect for what they’ve done with Circuit Superstars, as a lot of our team have played and loved the game. Their existing game is fun, very high quality, and the driving is great, three of the things we insist all our games have. Teaming up with them is the perfect opportunity for us to enter this space with a strong foundation that we can build upon. Games like these cultivate new racing enthusiasts who eventually become the next generation of sim racers and the future player base for our simulations. We can’t wait for players to get their hands on this all-new finished product.”

“Original Fire Games is very excited to partner with iRacing to bring motorsport fans a new game in 2025,” said Carolina Mastretta, Co-Founder and Studio Director at Original Fire Games. “What we created with Circuit Superstars showed us that there is a hunger for arcade-like racing experiences that are true to motorsport. As an industry leader of the sim racing space for nearly two decades, iRacing has talent, expertise and technology that can help us catalyze the potential of the foundation we’ve built so far. iRacing has been successfully venturing into new racing genres and they recognized the potential of our debut title. This convergence of our two companies presents a fantastic opportunity to craft our finest game yet.”

Development on the new game will be led by the Original Fire Games team, with iRacing supporting development and design by sharing experience and technology. The game will feature a more in-depth experience that includes a Career Mode and other diverse racing offerings in a package geared towards racers of all ages. Previous Original Fire Games products, including Circuit Superstars, will not be acquired by iRacing under the partnership.

The new product will be the latest under the iRacing publishing umbrella, which includes the core iRacing simulation product for PC; the World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing franchise, which has a follow-up to its critically acclaimed game releasing in September 2024; an all-new, highly anticipated NASCAR game releasing in 2025; and ExoCross, an exciting, futuristic off-road racing game scheduled to release in July 2024 on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
